Business of Baseball
NEW educational seminar and certificate program to benefit sports business students.
What better way to learn about the game than at a stadium with baseball executives at the top of their field?
In 2025, we marked the beginning of something truly special with the
launch of our Business of Baseball program at Yankee Stadium.
What started as an idea quickly evolved into a fully realized and marketable experience
for students passionate about sports business.
From the start, the goal was simple: create a space where high school, undergraduate, and graduate students could connect with professionals, gain real-world insights, and immerse themselves in the culture of baseball beyond the field.
With more than 30 students from some of the top schools in the Northeast, our maiden voyage lived up to its promise. A lively panel discussion gave students direct access to industry leaders, while a networking reception in a Yankee Stadium suite set the perfect backdrop to deepen those conversations and enjoy America’s pastime in a truly unique way.
But this was only the beginning. The Business of Baseball program is poised to grow into a signature series that brings together the next generation of sports business leaders with the people and places shaping the industry today.
Future events will build on the workshop model by incorporating additional panels, mentoring opportunities, and behind-the-scenes experiences at stadiums, training facilities, and industry conferences. By continuing to blend education, networking, and the excitement of live sports, the program will not only inspire students but also build a lasting pipeline of talent ready to thrive in the baseball industry.

Testimonials
Over the summer, I had the pleasure of attending the Business in Baseball event hosted by Joe Quagliano from Mint Pros. The event gave young college students the opportunity to listen, network, and ask questions with esteemed professionals in the world of baseball. It was very inspiring to hear the speaker’s story and get their advice on how they manage being in the world of sports. I walked away inspired, filled with knowledge, and the talks from the speakers proved that nothing is impossible. I want to thank Joe and his team at Mint Pros for hosting this event, as everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I look forward to attending more events like this in the future.

The inaugural “Business of Baseball” seminar held at Yankee Stadium as part of Baseball Live Events was absolutely tremendous! The workshop provided 35 students from all over the country a wide range of opportunities and a close-up opportunity to interact with a prestigious panel of Baseball Executives and learn about the inner workings of the business side of the sport. Panelists spoke and then they and the students participated in an energetic Q&A session that provided special awareness that involved new media and directions truly established. What a wonderful experience it was to host this most worthy event.
